What is an Urgent Health Problem?
An urgent health problem is any serious illness or injury that must be treated promptly, but is not life-threatening or limb-threatening. Some examples of conditions that can be treated at Green Valley Ranch Urgent Care Center are cuts, burns, bone fractures, sprains, high fever, earache, sore throat, sinus and other upper respiratory infections, mild asthma attacks, flu, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dehydration, abdominal pain, headaches, skin rashes, insect bites, body aches, urinary infections, reflux and other problems.
What happens when I arrive at the Urgent Care Center?
Upon arriving at the Urgent Care Center, you will sign in with one of the Medical Assistants so we can obtain the necessary information to treat you or your child. As soon as a Physician or Physician Assistant and an examination room are available, one of our medical assistants will call you in to take your or your child’s vital signs and a brief medical history. A Physician or Physician Assistant will then see you as soon as possible to provide necessary treatment.
What is the wait time?
Please understand that we may have emergencies that increase our wait times. We see patients in the Urgent Care Center on a first-come, first-served basis unless our triage team deems your condition critical in which case you will be seen as soon as possible. We recognize your time is valuable and we will do our very best to take care of you as quickly and safely as possible.
What are my payment options at urgent care?
For your convenience we accept most insurance plans including Medicare and Medicaid, Workers’ Compensation plans, credit cards and cash.
For our patients without medical insurance or who choose not to use their insurance plan, we offer a discounted fee for urgent care of $150 per visit. Our established patients may be seen on a non-urgent basis by appointment in our regular medical clinic for $100 per visit. Established patients are patients we have treated one or more times at Green Valley Ranch Medical Clinic. The fees above do not include procedures, laboratory services and x-rays. These discounted fees are only available at time of service.
